Docent-Naturalists Training
In the fall, the District hold docent-naturalist training programs for its prospective field program guides. The District provides a highly acclaimed training program at Malibu Lagoon and Sepulveda Basin which is open to leaders of other environmental education programs and park personnel. Other training programs are held in cooperation with organizations such as the Topanga Canyon Docents and the Cold Creek Docents. District education staff are also available to provide leadership and interpretive training for docents and naturalists in Los Angeles area environmentally-related organizations.
